The 2008 WCEA-Retired meeting will be held on Thursday, July 24, at the WCEA Office in Menomonie. It was previously listed as July 8, so this represents a change. Please make a note of it!

All Kinds of Activism
Who are the activists? The Kindergarten teacher who calls a parent when a child cries constantly at school. A custodian who helps a first grader find his lost boots. A bus driver who steps in to stop a bully. A building representative who helps someone understand a paragraph in the contract. A teacher who stands up for what is right. A local legislative/political chair who informs the members about an important election issue. All these and more are examples of union members who are activists.
