New Member Grant

Award up to $200 annually per unit to come up with a project to involve members who have 10 years or less experience in education. Board action provides Districts one grant for the teacher unit and one grant for the ESP unit(s), i.e. Districts with more than one ESP unit are entitled to one $200 grant. This grant will be similar in nature to the $200 public relations grant that is currently available through WCEA, but the criteria will have focus on newer members.

WCEA At-Home Public Relations Project

The WCEA At-Home PR Project was designed as a vehicle to help improve the public and self-image of WCEA teachers and educational support personnel. Each District may request up to $200 from WCEA as seed money to help sponsor a PR project.

WCEA Professional Issues Grant

Award up to $200 annually per unit to support and encourage professional development within our membership, focusing on improving the skills necessary to further their education and leadership careers.
