Bargaining Committee
The WCEA Bargaining Committee meets on a monthly basis throughout the year to consider the current bargaining situation for teacher and support staff contracts in the twenty two school districts that make up WCEA. The WCEA Single Local concept means that most of our contracts come under the authority of the WCEA Board of Directors, and the Negotiations Committee is formally the first stop for any contract settlement.
The Bargaining Committee is made up of head bargainers from across WCEA.

Legislative
The WCEA Legislative Committee keeps us updated on legislative issues that impact public education and the communities we serve. The Leg Committee helps elect pro-publication candidates. Leg also organizes fun events such as Oktoberfest 2008. Leg gets important information out to members.

Professional Issues
WCEA Professional Issues Committee organizes events and workshops to help teachers and support staff. Current projects include UniServ licensing centers for initial educators.
