Has an educator made a difference in your life?

Wisconsin's educators are committed to the success of their students
and to their local communities. When an educator goes the extra mile,
it doesn't just affect one person, it makes a real difference in all of our
lives. Show your support for educators. This site was initially
created for Teacher Appreciation Week, but any week is a
great week to pay tribute to your favorite educator.

Jamie Pitt, James Madison Memorial High School (Madison)

Mrs. Pitt is an inspiring, wonderful teacher. As a student in her choirs throughout high school, I was able to have a great hour in my school day each and every day. Directing choirs and teaching music are her passions, and it shows through all of her hard work and dedication she brings to class each day. Although singing in choir was new to me as a freshman, I enjoyed it so much that I decided to sing for the rest of my high school career. Loved and appreciated dearly by her students, Mrs. Pitt has inspired me to study education so I can hopefully enjoy my job as much as she does one day.
