About 200 people gather at Memorial Park in Denmark for a rally to show support for settling both the teachers and ESP contracts for 2005-07. The main issue has been a dispute over insurance plans and coverage. The teachers and ESP have been insisting that the school board honor a commitment to work with the Door/Kewaunee Consortium to save money on insurance through the WEA Insurance Trust. Just prior to the rally, a tentative agreement was reached in the teachers contract.
