What is REPA?

Reedsburg Educational Paraprofessionals Association (REPA) is a professional organization made up of people dedicated to improving the character and intellectual development of the young citizens of Reedsburg. REPA is the vital link between the students and their teachers. REPA members work closely with teachers to see that each child has the opportunity to grow to her or his fullest potential in school. REPAs serve in regular classrooms, in special education classrooms, maintain libraries, assist in offices and provide health care. REPA has been chartered by the Wisconsin Educators Association Council (WEAC), a member of the Three Rivers United Educators UniServe and an affiliated member of the National Educators Association (NEA) since June 2007.

REPA's Purpose

  • To promote professional growth and recognition of educational paraprofessionals as professional members of the Reedsburg educational team;
  • To strengthen and support paraprofessionals’ commitment to their positions, profession and community;
  • To ensure economic and professional welfare of its members through the collective bargaining process;
  • To provide quality assistance to students and teachers to enhance the success of the School District of Reedsburg and the development of intelligent, responsible citizens for the Reedsburg community.
