Radio Ads Stress Importance Of Supporting Great Schools
WEAC is launching a radio advertising
campaign this month to generate support for Governor Jim Doyle's 2005-07
state budget proposal, which makes historic investments in public education
while providing relief for taxpayers.
Four 60-second spots, named Great Schools Budget Minutes, feature the
great schools message and information about the need to support the
governor's budget and end school funding cuts that are detrimental to
the quality of education in the state. Each ad uses the voice of a WEAC
member, student or parent.
The ads will air April 18 to May 6, 2005. They will play on weekdays
during the morning and evening rush hours.
The ads will play on the following stations:
- Milwaukee: WISN-AM
- Madison: WIBA-AM and The Mic (92.1)
- Green Bay: WTAQ-AM
- Appleton: WHBY-AM
- Fond du Lac: KFIZ-AM
- Beaver Dam: WBEV-AM
