Staples, Saturn Show Appreciation For Educators And Support Staff
Staples stores and Saturn dealerships nationwide are showing support
for teachers and education support professionals during the month of
August.
Each Staples store in Wisconsin has designated Saturday, August 28
as "Staples Teacher Appreciation Day." WEAC and NEA members
who visit their local Staples store on that day will receive free supplies
for the classroom, including pencils, pens, notepads erasers, crayons
and more. They will also receive a packet of back-to-school discount
coupons worth hundreds of dollars.
In addition, WEAC members who bring proof of membership, like their
OnWEAC Savers' Club cards, to Staples on Teacher Appreciation Day will
receive exclusive coupons for extra savings.
Members can also pick up a special certificate from Staples on Teacher
Appreciation Day to take to a Saturn dealership before September 30.
By taking a test drive, they'll receive a $35 Staples gift card and
$500 toward the purchase or lease of a new 2004 Saturn vehicle.
Don't forget to bring used inkjet and laser printer cartridges to Staples
for reuse and recycling. For every cartridge turned in, the Staples
Recycle for Education program will donate $1 to the WEA Professional
Development Academy. The PDA will use the money to develop and deliver
quality professional development programs to Wisconsin educators.
