| RadioShack Corporation has presented its 2004 National Teacher
Awards to eight Wisconsin high school educators. They are among 110 educators nationwide who received awards this
year for demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence in
mathematics, science or technology. The Wisconsin teachers are: - Michelle Feutz, a science teacher at Arrowhead High School
in Hartland; $1,000 cash award.
- D.J. Huddleston, a science teacher at D.C. Everest Senior
High School in Weston; $3,000 cash award.
- John Katz, a math teacher at Menomonee Falls High School in
Menomonee Falls; $3,000 cash award.
- Scott Kirst, a math and science teacher at Oconto Falls High
School in Oconto Falls; $3,000 cash award.
- David Kreutz, a science teacher at Burlington High School
in Burlington; $3,000 cash award.
- Patricia Phillips, a technology teacher at Joseph A. Craig
High School in Janesville; $3,000 cash award.
- Ben Senson, a science teacher at James Madison Memorial High
School in Madison; $3,000 cash award.
- Jennifer Wegner, a technology teacher at Mishicot High School
in Mishicot; $3,000 cash award
The cash awards go directly to the teachers, said
Laura Moore, senior vice president and chief communications officer
of RadioShack Corporation. This truly is a personal reward
for a job well-done. RadioShack has awarded cash and prizes to 1,550 individuals for
their commitment, excellence and innovation in the classroom since
