Waukesha County Tech College Faculty Win National Award
Two WEAC members are being nationally recognized for their teaching
excellence and commitment to professional development.

Waukesha County Technical College teachers Timothy Gossett and Jim
Schroeder are recipients of the National Institute for Staff and Organizational
Development (NISOD) Excellence Award.
Gossett is a law enforcement instructor who developed WCTC's forensics
course curriculum. He is also credited with turning a vacant classroom
into a cutting-edge evidence lab.
Communication Skills instructor Jim Schroeder is active in many WCTC
campus and community groups, and is a winner of the School to Work Initiative
of Waukesha County Award and the Partner for Education Award. He also
serves on WEAC's Professional Development Academy Board of Directors.
Gossett and Schroeder will receive the awards in Austin, Texas, this
spring during the annual International Conference on Teaching and Learning
Excellence.
WCTC is a member of NISOD, an organization dedicated to the professional
development of faculty, administrators, and staff of community colleges.
