WEA Academy offers Basic Skills for Paraeducators course

Need to show that you are highly qualified for your Title I School? Want to have proof that YOU keep, as opposed to your district's documentation that you might not be able to 'take with you'? Then, complete the Basic Skills for Para Educators course being offered by WEA Academy. This self paced online program offers you a blend of web-based review and practice and direct interaction with instructors from a Wisconsin technical college. While the program generally takes 40 hours to complete, you begin by taking some assessments that then tell you what you need to do. And, now, for a limited time, the WEA Academy is offering this course to WEAC ESP members for $50. That is a price reduction of $135 from the usual WEAC member rate. More information
