Conference on Storytelling as a Healing Art is March 2010

A conference called “Nurturing Resilience: The Power of Storytelling to Build Healthy Bodies and Communities” is March 5-7, 2010, in Milwaukee. Educators, parents, healing professionals, and anyone who loves a good story are invited to attend. Nancy Mellon, therapist, educator and author of Body Eloquence: The Power of Myth and Storytelling to Awaken the Body’s Energies, will lead participants through her experiential work. Workshop choices will engage participants in the power of storytelling in education, parenting, health care, therapy, organizational management, community building and self-development.

This event is convened by Great Lakes Teacher Training, the Waldorf teacher training institute in southeastern Wisconsin, and sponsored by Lilipoh. Space is limited; register early.
