National Alliance of Black School Educators Conference

The 37th Annual Conference of the National Alliance of Black School Educators will be held November 18-22 at the Indianapolis Convention Centre in Indianapolis, Ind.

As one of the alliance’s national partners, NEA will sponsor the following event, “ A Chat with Linda” featuring Linda Darling-Hammond on November 19 at 5:30pm. Nearly 4,000 attendees from across the country are expected to participate in workshops, visit more than 300 exhibits, fellowship and network with other members and friends of the nation’s premier association of African American educators.

Conference speakers include the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson Sr., Civil Rights Activist, Founder & President of the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition; Arne Duncan, U.S. Secretary of Education; and Bishop Lemeul Thuston, Urban-Educational Consultant, Professor and Author.
