'Wisconsin's technical colleges benefit everyone'

WEAC has produced and distributed a television and radio public service announcement focusing on the important role that technical colleges play in the state.

University of Wisconsin sports broadcaster Matt Lepay lends his voice to the announcement, which is running on radio and television stations throughout the state October 10 through November 6, thanks to a special arrangement with the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association.

In both messages, Lepay says:

“Remember when a computer could barely fit into a single room, and a bike was faster than a car? Oh, how things have changed. Today, we live in a fast-paced high-tech world, and Wisconsin’s technical colleges are helping students prepare to tackle the jobs and challenges of the 21st century. That means a highly skilled workforce for our local communities and a stronger economy for Wisconsin. Wisconsin’s technical colleges benefit everyone.”
