Nominate a student-athlete 'superstar'
Nine of Wisconsin's best student-athletes will receive suite tickets to a
Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers or Milwaukee Admirals game this year thanks to Fox Sports Network's "Wisconsin Student-Athlete Superstars" program, which is co-sponsored by WEAC.
Teachers and coaches can nominate student-athletes who display outstanding work in the classroom and on
the field by sending in a
written essay and photograph to the FSN office in Milwaukee, highlighting the accomplishments of their nominee. A selection
committee of four FSN employees will review the essays each month and
vote on a winner.
The winner will receive four VIP suite tickets to a
Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers or Admirals game, with food and
beverage included, and a gift pack compliments of FSN.
FSN will produce 30-second commercials to recognize
the winners and the teacher or coach who nominated them. Overall, nine
winners will be selected, one for each month from November 2005 through
July 2006.
Entries should be mailed to:
FSN North
9001 N. Green Bay Road
Milwaukee, WI. 53209
The first deadline is October 24 for the November
winner. Future deadlines are one week before the end of the month, through
the end of June. Winners are selected by the first of each month.
Entries should consist of a short essay about the student-athlete with a picture submitted by a teacher and/or coach. The essay should focus on how the student embodies excellence both in the classroom and on the athletic field.
