Terri Langan Wins WTCS Excellence Award

Terri Langan, faculty specialist at Fox Valley Technical College, is recipient of the 1998 Wisconsin Technical College System’s Teaching Excellence Award.

Langan joined FVTC in 1975 as a communication skills instructor and brings more than 20 years of teaching experience to her current position of faculty specialist.

While taking a leading role in curriculum development, she also continues to teach her classes, develop and deliver courses over the Internet, and pursue her master’s degree in Educational Change and Technology Innovation.

Langan said awards such as hers are only possible “where an environment exists that encourages innovation, risk-taking, growth and development. Because we have that kind of environment at FVTC, people can flourish.”
