WEAC Advisory Council Focuses on Elections

Renowned poet, educator, author, actress, playwright and civil rights activist Maya Angelou is the keynote speaker for the 1998 WEAC Convention. Angelou has written books, poetry, plays, screenplays for movies, and has appeared in movies and television shows. She received a National Book award for “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.”

Bill Press, host of CNN’s “Crossfire” program, is the speaker at the Issues Breakfast on October 30.

The Convention is October 29-30 in Madison.
