Chair Appointed to Assembly Committees for 2007 - 2008

Assembly Speaker-elect Mike Huebsch (R-West Salem) has announced committee chairs for the 2007-08 legislative session. He said there will be fewer standing committees (34) and closer ratios between Republicans and Democrats. Republicans will have a 52-47 majority in the Assembly, down from the current 59-39 majority. The appointments are:
