Hearings Scheduled on State Budget Plan
The Legislature’s Joint Finance Committee will travel to four
cities to gather input on the 1999-2001 state budget in coming weeks.
WEAC leaders will testify at each of the hearings. Each hearing runs
from 10:30 am to 5 pm. The schedule is:
- Friday, March 26, Brown County Public Library, Green Bay.
- Thursday, April 8, J. I. Case High School, Racine.
- Tuesday, April 13, UW-Stevens Point University Center.
- Wednesday, April 14, Osceola High School, Osceola.
- Thursday, April 15, in the State Capitol, Room 411-S.
