Thanking your first-grade teacher, 57 years later

Imagine being so impressed by your first-grade teacher that you decide to honor her on MyTeacherIsGreat.org 57 years later! That's exactly what Betty Wentland - now a retired teacher herself - did. Her special tribute inspired WEAC Editor Bill Hurley to drive up to Gleason Wisconsin and sit down with Mrs. Dorothy Koprek and two of her former students, Betty Wentland and Dolores Iwen and talk about education the way it used to be.
