Educators: You have the power to save your job or your colleagues’ jobs

The fight continues to pass an education jobs fund that will save hundreds of thousands of educator jobs across the country and ensure the necessary investments to help all students succeed. The next few weeks before Congress adjourns for the Fourth of July are absolutely critical.

House Appropriations Chairman, and strong public education advocate, Dave Obey (D-WI) remains deeply committed to passing this essential funding. But others in Congress still need convincing – and you are the best messengers!

Take action today! Here’s what you can do to save education jobs:

• Send an e-mail to your congressional representative by clicking here.
• Tell your elected officials how important education jobs are and that they should vote yes on the Education Jobs Fund.
