WEAC staff, members volunteer at Wisconsin Public Television Auction

6/7/2010 2:12:55 PM

Several WEAC staff and members served as volunteers at the Wisconsin Public Television Live Auction June 2-6. They answered phones and took bids on a wide variety of topics, contributing to one of WPT's top fund-raising events. Among those working at the auction was WEAC President Mary Bell, who is not in these photos because she is the one who was taking the pictures. Other participants include WEAC Vice President Guy Costello, who is in the top photo on the upper left and in the middle photo on the right; Ann Caruso, confidential secretary to the WEAC Executive Director, in the center of the middle photo; and Public Relations Staff Assistant Diana Buchholz (left) and WEAC Legal Counsel Joanne Huston, in the bottom photo. Also volunteering but not pictured was Lucy Walter of the WEAC Public Relations Committee.

WEAC can participate in the Milwaukee Public Television Auction too.  It runs end of May for 10 days into June, and is seen throughout all of Southeastern Wisconsin.    As sponsors and volunteers, there are lots of opportunities for on-air recognition.  It's a great way to get out, have fun with co-workers, meet new people, and help make a difference in your community.
