Teaching conversational English in China

This is a photo from Carol Surges' experience teaching conversational English at an English Camp at the Yang Guang Qing International School in Beijing, China. "When resources are limited, it’s amazing what can be done with 3x5 index cards, a chalkboard, and a little ‘stik tak’. Those 100 cards ended up being a key part of games, instruction and review activities," she said. Carol is a library media specialist at McKinley Elementary School in Wauwatosa.
