Milwaukee area members explore health reform options

| About 100 WEAC leaders and members attended the WEAC Metro Milwaukee Legislative Committee’s Forum on Health Care Reform at the United Education Professionals Building in Brookfield on Thursday. The crowd heard about President Barack Obama’s health care proposal, where health care reform legislation is in Congress and how health care reform helps everyone.
Bottom left: Lakewood UniServ Council Executive Director Steven Cupery discussed why education professionals want and need health care reform. “We have to let our legislators hear from us. Take what you learned today and go out there and organize like you want to win,” Cupery said to a round of applause.
