Oakfield High School Construction Students Win Engineering Contest

Oakfield High School construction students Alex McArthur, left, and Brandon Strean show off the trusses they designed and built as part of an engineering contest. Both trusses successfully supported 500 pounds, enough to win the contest. Teacher Paul Helm uses hands-on activities to teach students the basic principles of engineering.
