About 200 people attended the event, including Kenosha County officials and U.S. Senator Russ Feingold's representative Jeri Gabrielson; US Senator Herb Kohl's representative Judy Huffman, who is a former Racine teacher; and Congressman Paul Ryan. State Senators attending were Judy Robson, Cathy Stepp and Robert Wirch. State Representatives were Thomas Lothian, Robert Turner, John Lehman, Robin Vos, James Kreuser, John Steinbrink and Samantha Kerkman.
