WEAC members show their support for striking Tyson Foods workers in Jefferson over the weekend (March 29, 2003) by attending a rally (above) and making donations. WEAC staff in Madison contributed more than $700 and two carloads of food. The United Staff Union, which represents WEAC employees, contributed $500 from its crisis fund. Also, Lakewood UniServ Council donated $500, and the United Technical College Council locals collected more than a dozen bags of food and $517.15 during its Representative Assembly.
