Terri Schlack and Roberts Elementary School fourth graders in Fond du Lac win a trip to Weather Day at Miller Park

It was pure chance, but the very last comment submitted in the weac.org Weather Day at Miller Park Contest was randomly selected as the winning entry. Fond du Lac Teacher Terri Schlack posted her comment entering the contest just about 15 minutes before the contest deadline.

Each entry was assigned a number, and we used random.org to select a winning number between 1 and 73 (including Facebook entries). It had nothing to do with when someone entered, but Terri's number came up the winner.

Roberts Elementary School fourth graders were treated to a day of learning and fun at Miller park on April 28.

The Milwaukee Brewers doanted the tickets. WEAC agreed to help cover transportation costs to bus Roberts students to the game and back.

During Weather Day at Miller Park, students enjoyed a special meteorology lesson from Storm Team 4 meteorologists and a visit from Bernie Brewer and the Klement's Famous Racing Sausages, along with a special Science Fair featuring the Discovery World and the Learning Shop before watching the game.

This was the 2nd Annual Weather Day at Miller Park. Last year, teacher Anne Baldwin of Highland won tickets, and brought her 7th and 8th graders on the field trip they will not soon forget.

Thank you to everyone who entered this contest. Read all the great comments that were entered!
