About the New Teachers page
OnWEAC and OnWEAC In Print are proud to showcase the talents of these writers as they provide insight into the joys and challenges of being a new or relatively new teacher in Wisconsin.
Writers add columns to this page on a regular basis, and one column is selected each month to appear in OnWEAC In Print.
Longtime columnist Cindy Reitzi, an experienced writer and substitute teacher in Madison, is the coordinator and mentor for the WEAC Young Writers Group.
While we have developed a core of young teachers who contribute regularly, we are accepting writing samples on an ongoing basis. We will pay for columns that we select to run either in OnWEAC In Print or on OnWEAC.
