2002 WEAC Spring Conference is February 22-24

The WEAC Spring Conference takes the place of several past conferences - the WEAC ESP Conference, …And Justice for All Conference, and the Instruction & Professional Development Conference. This year's Conference will be held at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin on February 22-24, 2002. President Stan Johnson will have a discussion Q&A with ESP participants during the Saturday afternoon program.

Eleven sessions are especially designed for ESP members. Conference participants can earn up to 7 hours of PDA ESP Certificate Program elective credits for the starred sessions in the following list:

• ESP Beginning Bargaining,
• ESP Advanced Bargaining,
• *Communications - ICON & Newsletters,
• * Legal Issues for ESP,
• * Making a Presentation to Your School Board,
• Organizing for Action in Your Local,
• *Problem Solving in Your Local,
• WEA Insurance Trust - "The Best of Times, The Worst of Times,"
• *Building Leadership Skills,
• *Dealing with Difficult Student Situations, and
• *Health & Safety on the Job.
