WCTC Part-Time United Faculty Organizing Committee volunteers will be contacting you over the next few months to answer your questions, share information, and keep you informed on these important topics. Judge Upholds WCTEA/WEACs Open Records Request In accordance with Wisconsins Open Records law, Waukesha Circuit Court Judge John Kieffer has ruled that WCTEA/WEACs request for the addresses and phone numbers of part-time faculty was legal, and has ordered WCTC to release the information. The judge stated that his decision is limited to this request and does not require the College to release information in other situations. In the judges own words, "This ruling does not open the flood gates." The judges ruling excluded those employees who are sworn police officers, fire fighters and EMTs. The WCTC Part-Time United Faculty Organizing Committee pledges to use all addresses and phone numbers discreetly and only to provide you with information to make an informed decision on the important issue of union representation for collective bargaining.
