Your local association is made up of you and your co-workers within your school district. The local provides day-to-day support on work related issues and bargaining. This is where you have the first line of input into your union over your contract and other issues important to public education. |

Your local belongs to a UniServ—CAUS South. UniServs are regional groupings of local unions. Your local sends a representative to CAUS South and that representative acts as the communications link between your local, WEAC and the NEA. The UniServ also provides legal guidance, help with contract enforcement, contract negotiations, political action, training, and other support. |
