My role as a member
Your role within Student WEA may vary depending on where you are in your education program.
Student WEA is a member-run organization and it is only as strong as the collective strength of the local chapters. As described above, there are extensive leadership opportunities available if you are ready to step up to that challenge. Even if you choose not to become a leader, there are many valuable ways to contribute to building a strong chapter, while enjoying the benefits of membership. Without member involvement and participation, officers cannot successfully plan and carry out activities. Contact an officer or attend a chapter meeting to see what you can do to be active at the local or state level.
