2009-2010 State Executive Board
At the 2009 Student WEA Representative Assembly the 2009-2010 State Executive Board was elected. Here are this year's board members...
President - Kelly Risberg I am in my senior year at UW-Stout. An Early Childhood Education major and will begin my student teaching this fall and will finish next spring. I'm not only busy with school and Student WEA, but also with working two jobs. I work part-time as a teller at Royal Credit Union and a nanny for a family. I enjoy being busy and love to spend any free time with my family and friends doing various activities! I am super excited for the up-coming year with Student WEA and proud to be serving you as your state president!!!
Vice President - Sara Bradley Hi everyone! I will be a super senior at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse where I major in elementary education with a minor in early childhood education. I will be spending the entire year student teaching. I currently serve as the State Vice - President. This will be my third year in Student WEA. I am very excited to have the opportunity to serve as your State Vice - President! We are going to have a great year with awesome committees that will help us accomplish everything we need to in order to continue the success of this great organization!
Secretary - Erin Flanagan This is my senior year at UW-Eau Claire, and this is my fourth year in Student WEA. I have a major in elementary education with a minor in learning disabilities. My favorite part of Student WEA is getting an inside look at the union and how it works toward making public schools a great place to work. My favorite color is pink, and I enjoy listening to Coldplay.
PR Coordinator - Karlie Johnson I am excited about my senior at Carthage College, and this is my fourth year in Student WEA. I have a double major in elementary and special education and will be student teaching this spring. I look forward to keeping everyone informed via the website, Facebook, newsletters, and e-zines! My hobbies include scrapbooking, spending time with my Chi Omega sisters, and reading.
Fall PDS Coordinator - Christina Peterson This fall I will begin my senior year at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. I am majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in English Language Arts. This coming year will be my third in Student WEA and I am greatly looking forward to the challenge of being part of the state team. Networking and creating lasting friendships has been my favorite part of being a member of this organization. I love watching the Badgers play hockey, the color purple, scrapbooking with my friends, and I can fold my tongue into the shape of a clover.
