National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) Survey

In order to better serve the needs of Wisconsin teachers who pursue National Board Certification, the WI National Board Network wishes to collect the following information from all Wisconsin school districts. This information will aid districts as they begin to acknowledge National Board Certification as a valuable component of teacher professional development. Wisconsin legislators, WEAC, WI Department of Instruction and state policymakers strongly support this rigorous professional development on the premise that better teaching results in better learning. Wisconsin DPI presently awards a $2,500 yearly stipend for nine years to Wisconsin NBCT's. In addition, NBCT's are eligible for Master Licensure. Please complete and submit this short questionnaire. A summary of this information will be available at weac.org and dpi.state.wi.us.
