INFLATION SOARS

Over the past calendar year, inflation has been at about 4.4%. Therefore, any salary increase that falls below that amount is in effect a pay cut. As we consider what is a fair salary increase for the folks who teach our children and run our schools, we need to take into account the increasing cost of living.
