Representational Rights
If an administrator asks to speak with you, what are your rights to representation? If you have a reasonable belief that the meeting may result in discipline or other adverse consequences, you are entitled to union representation. Your representative has the right to ask questions,to counsel you and to intercede depending on the circumstances of the meeting. You also have the right to be informed of what the meeting is about. You have the right to stop the meeting until your representative is present. Feel free to contact your UniServ Director, Ted Lewis at LewisT@weac.org if you have questions about your right to union representation.
