Fundraiser to benefit Cambridge teacher's daughter

A fundraiser will be held October 23 for the daughter of WEAC member and Cambridge teacher Beau Brezenski and his wife Amanda. Gracie Brezenski, who is 19 months old, was born with Emanual Syndrome, a very rare syndrome that comes with severe health problems as well as cognitive and developmental disabilities. Proceeds from the benefit will be used to purchase a conversion van to assist Gracie with her wheelchair, and for other needed equipment.
The silent auction and raffle is from 4 to 9 p.m. October 23 at the Prairie Athletic Club indoor soccer field in Sun Prairie. It includes entertainment, food, soda and beer at a nominal price.
Gracie's step-grandfather is Tim Wagner who teaches at Prairie View Middle School in Sun Prairie. Kathy Betis, Gracie's Grandma, taught for 25 years and is now retired.
