Training on teens with disabilities offered in Ashland

“How to Better Understand Adolescents with Developmental or Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities” training will be provided by the Wisconsin Department of Justice on August 3, 2009 in Ashland. Teens with disabilities are more vulnerable to being charged with crimes or being victimized. This day is intended to help those who investigate, protect and advocate for teens with disabilities. The training is intended for law enforcement, prosecutors, social workers and medical providers as well as educators. The cost of the training is $30 and hotel rooms are available.
