Presidents Johnson and Weaver will address NATOW conference June 20

Wisconsin Education Association Council President Stan Johnson and National Education Association President Reg Weaver will help lead a special educators' session at the annual Native American Tourism of Wisconsin (NATOW) Conference at the Bad River Lodge/Casino & Conference Center on Tuesday, June 20.

Johnson will be recognized for his contribution to the Native American Educational Package, a comprehensive program that will be introduced in Wisconsin schools this fall.

Weaver will deliver the session's keynote address at approximately 10:30 a.m., and will be introduced by Wisconsin Indian Education Association President Michelle La Rock.

The NATOW conference, sponsored by all 11 Wisconsin tribal nations, begins June 19. The Bad River Lodge/Casino & Conference Center is located at 123 Maple St, U.S. Highway 2, in Odanah, Wisconsin.
