CLUE forum focuses on Healthy Wisconsin plan
About 250 educators, school board members, business people and others attended a forum Thursday (May 22, 2008) to learn more about the Senate Democrats’ Healthy Wisconsin plan to reform health care. The Pewaukee forum was sponsored by Cedar Lake United Educators, and most of the attendees were CLUE members.
State Sen. Jon Erpenbach and Robert Kraig from Citizen Action of Wisconsin presented and explained details of the plan and answered many questions for the audience.
“Basically, it’s universal coverage,” Erpenbach said. “It’s the same kind of health care choices that I have, that Governor Doyle has.”
