OnWEAC Gets a Makeover

No, it's not your imagination. OnWEAC has a new look.

WEAC's Public Relations and Communications campuses have been working throughout the spring and summer with the WEAC Information Technology Campus and our outside partners to produce this new look.

The new color scheme incorporates the blue and red that WEAC uses in its logo. OnWEAC's logo was redesigned to include the Great Schools shooting star. This facelift is part of an ongoing process to refine WEAC's brand and to improve our communication with members and the public.

We have not changed the navigation or structure of OnWEAC, so you will still be able to find your favorite pages easily, and your bookmarks do not need to be changed.

We are proud of OnWEAC, and hope you are too. OnWEAC added another award to its long list this summer when it took the top prize in e-media at the State Education Editors conference. The State Education Editors group is comprised of communications professionals who work in the National Education Association's state affiliates. In effect, OnWEAC was again named the best NEA state affiliate Web site, in a category that includes the nation's largest states.

We're confident your eyes will quickly adjust to OnWEAC's friendly new color scheme and that you will continue to enjoy navigating through the thousands of pages of valuable information on OnWEAC. And stay tuned: We have some other very special features planned for OnWEAC this fall.

Also, later this month, staff will update the looks of several other publications, including OnWEAC Direct, OnWEAC In Print, Update and Speak Out, to reflect this same look. The Members Only area of OnWEAC will also be redesigned.

As always, please contact us with any suggestions you have for adding to or changing OnWEAC's content. We want to make sure OnWEAC continues to meet your needs.
