OnWEAC Wins National Award

WEAC also wins four other awards

OnWEAC is winner of the 2000 electronic media award from the Public Relations Council of the States.

The OnWEAC award was one of five taken home by WEAC from this year's PR Council conference. The PR Council is made up of public relations and communications professionals from NEA state affiliates throughout the country.

This is the third time in four years OnWEAC has won this national award.

Last November, OnWEAC also won its fourth straight Spectrum Award of Excellence from the Wisconsin School Public Relations Association.

Other awards won by WEAC at this year's PR Council Awards Banquet were:

• The Great Schools video won two awards, including a special award for outstanding video.
• The Great Schools issue papers won the Community Relations award.
• The Great Schools editorial board campaign won the Media Relations award.
