SB 325 Supports Clean Air in Schools

Senate Bill 325, known as the Wisconsin Indoor Environmental Quality in Schools Act, provides schools with a guide to improve indoor environmental quality and ensure that new construction, remodeling or renovation projects pay attention to student health concerns before the projects are approved. The act is an item in WEAC's Legislative Agenda. On October 19, the Senate Committee on Housing and Financial Institutions voted, 6-1, to recommend the Wisconsin Indoor Environmental Quality in Schools Act for passage.
