WEAC and WASDA release revenue caps survey at February 28 news conference
This year's revenue caps survey, conducted jointly by the Wisconsin Education Association Council and the Wisconsin Association of School District Administrators, will be released at a Capitol news conference on Tuesday, February 28, at 9:00 a.m. in the Senate Parlor. The joint survey of the state's school superintendents has been conducted every year since 1993. Sixty-five percent of Wisconsin's school district superintendents responded to the survey. This year's survey compares current data to data from previous years and projects program cuts for future years. The survey shows the cumulative effects of school district revenue caps across academic areas, and shows which segments of the curriculum have been hit the hardest. This year's survey also compares the impact of the revenue caps on districts with declining enrollment to districts with stable or increasing enrollment. News Conference | |
