Another school has been booted from the Milwaukee private school voucher program.
The State Department of Public Instruction terminated the R&B Academy's participation in the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program after Milwaukee's Department of Neighborhood Services inspected the building at 5150 N. 32nd St. and found that it failed to meet "the minimum life and safety requirements for an educational occupancy."
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the R&B Academy - which enrolled 104 voucher students - is the third publicly funded private school to be launched by Ricardo Brooks. Each one has been ousted from the voucher program because of problems.
