Stoughton Food Pantry Donation

Carol Jacobs, Stoughton Education Association Action Team leader, presents a check for $1,620 to Ruth Fortney of the Stoughton Food Pantry. Stoughton teachers and education assistants worked together during American Education Week on a fundraising project for the pantry and Thanksgiving.  The theme of American Education Week stressed the importance of teamwork between teachers, education assistants, parents, administrators and the community in making schools and communities stronger.  The SEA-EAA donation will allow the Food Pantry to distribute 77 Thanksgiving baskets.
