Madison April 23, 2005. Katie Korger, a graphic designer, was one of
many employees of Capital Newspapers who volunteered to work the WEAC
exhibit.
Dr. Seusss beloved Cat in the Hat looks on (below)
as WEAC member Suzanne Egan, of Oak Creek, talks with children during
the Kids Expo. Scholastic, the largest publisher of childrens
books, provided materials for the mini-bookstore at the WEAC-sponsored
Book Zone. A portion of the proceeds is going to the Red Lake School
District in Minnesota, site of a tragic shooting this spring.
