On Monday, October 11, 2004, the Clintonville School
Board signed a resolution with the Clintonville Education Association
in support of the repeal of the Qualified Economic Offer law, revised
school funding, and repeal of school district revenue caps.
CEA legislative chairperson Ralph Williams, who wrote the resolution
and presented it to the board, shakes hands above with School Board
President Pat McCarthy.
The resolution was passed unanimously after a minor amendment was made
to note that the support was only if the burden did not fall back on
the local taxpayers.
Clintonville is one of the first locals in the state to get the resolution
signed. The resolution is an activity called for in the Great
Schools Statewide Action Plan.
