STANDING STRONG AGAINST ALL ODDS: Wisconsin educators continue to stand strong
Letter: Looking back on a year of division in our state, it hasn’t been easy. Yet, our energy and commitment to the Wisconsin we remember is still strong.
Letter: Instead of attacking public school employees, it’s my hope that all Wisconsinites will take time to visit a local school, put themselves in a teacher’s shoes, and realize it’s not as glamorous as those who attack us make it out to be.
Letter: I ask you to stand up for public schools to keep them strong, and to remember the promise that they offer our children.
Countering Walker's false claim that his "tools are working."
Letter: Despite what he says, there is nothing “working” about Walker’s education priorities. In fact it’s just the opposite
Letter: How can Walker gloat that – because of fewer educators in schools and the huge class sizes as a result – students aren’t receiving the individual attention they need to succeed?
Letter: To have a governor who so openly undermines our efforts to promote public education is a travesty
